Somni's Engine Consumables Guide
Full item list from Ether Vials to D6 rerolls, with star ratings and effects.
Consumables are single-use or limited-use items that restore health, stamina, grant buffs, or provide utility. They drop from Scavenge boxes, appear in zone shops for Scrap, and sometimes show up as intermission picks. This page is the item index from Miraheze wiki data.
A D6 rerolls a nearby perk of the same rarity. It is listed here because it is a utility consumable, not because it restores anything.
Healing items — HP
| Item | Stars | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Canned Tuna | ★★ | Restore 15 HP | Cheap starter heal |
| Canned Meat | ★★★ | Restore 30 HP | Mid-tier heal |
| Ether Vial | ★★★ | Recover 50% HP | Half your max health |
| Cherri-Pop | ★★★★ | Restore 10 HP (5 uses) | Efficient per-use, limited |
| H.N.C | ★★★★ | Restore 75 HP | Strong single-use |
| P.B.J | ★★★★ | Boost most stats for 20s + Restore 20 HP | Buff plus heal |
| B.L.T | ★★★★★ | Boost most stats for 30s + Restore 100 HP | Best consumable in the game |
| Ether Pack | ★★★★ | Recover all HP | Full heal on demand |
B.L.T (“The Loaffle BLT”) is the best consumable in the game. Thirty seconds of stat boost plus 100 HP covers most of a bad situation. It is the ceiling for both healing and pre-fight preparation.
Ether Pack recovers all HP. If you are rolling with a full med stack and still dying, one Ether Pack resets you.
P.B.J is the budget B.L.T — same buff type but shorter duration and smaller heal. Still worth a slot on a quiet run.
Stamina items — SP
| Item | Stars | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Water | ★ | Restore 25 SP | Cheap stamina restore |
| Soda | ★ | Restore 50 SP | Basic stamina drink |
| Coffee | ★★ | Restore 75 SP | Better stamina drink |
| Choco-Charge | ★★ | +25 SP and +25 Max SP for 20s | Temporary stat boost |
| 25th Hour | ★★★ | Restore 100 SP | Large stamina restore |
| Choco Balls | ★★★ | +15 SP and +15 Max SP for 15s (5 uses) | Efficient over time |
| Soda Pack | ★★★★ | Restore 50 SP (4 uses, restacks with Sodas) | Reusable stamina source |
Stamina management is a core skill. Below 15 SP you cannot sprint. Eating a Water or Soda before a sprint sequence keeps your options open.
Choco-Charge and Choco Balls increase Max SP temporarily. If you are hit and your Max SP drops, these items restore it.
Soda Pack is unique — it can be refilled by dragging plain Sodas into it. Stack it in your bag and top it off between zones.
Stat boosters and utility
| Item | Stars | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lemon Rush | ★★ | +5 Movement for 6s | Short speed boost |
| Lemon Sour | ★★★ | +1 Movement for 4s (5 uses) | Lower speed, more uses |
| Whisper Tea | ★★ | +2 Stealth for 20s | Stealth buff for hide runs |
| Crayons | ★★ | Random buff for 12s (3 uses) | Gamble item |
| Focus Gum | ★★ | +1 Work Level (Repair, Extract, Scavenge) for 10s | Machine quota helper |
| Gumdrops | ★★ | +0.5 to Repair, Extract, Scavenge for 10s (5 uses) | Milder work boost |
| Ear Muffs | ★★★ | Suppresses Noise Bar by 100% | Stealth S-tier item |
Ear Muffs are on this list because they are a consumable-equivalent utility item. They suppress the noise bar completely. If you are running hide, these belong in your bag before you pick up a weapon.
Focus Gum and Gumdrops directly speed up machine jobs. Use them before an Extract, Repair, or Scavenge task if the quota is tight.
Whisper Tea gives +2 Stealth for 20 seconds. On a hide run with a tight noise budget, this plus Ear Muffs plus Amethyst from the lockbox puts you near invisible.
Ammo and repair
| Item | Stars | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small Bullets | ★★★ | Loads Popket and Ball Gun | Ranged resupply |
| Spark Shells | ★★★ | Loads Sparket | Flare ammo |
| Red Shells | ★★★ | Loads Remmy | Shotgun resupply |
| Duct Tape | ★★★ | Repairs weapons (2 charges) | Does not fix Ferro-Mace or Black Knife |
| The D6 | ★★★ | Rerolls a nearby Perk into one with the same rarity | Keep in bag for perk decisions |
Duct Tape repairs most weapons but cannot fix a broken Ferro-Mace or Black Knife — those are permanently unrepairable by design.
The D6 is the perk reroll tool. It sits in your bag until you see a bad lockbox roll. One use of a D6 can turn a C-tier perk into an S-tier of the same rarity.
Special and solo-only items
| Item | Stars | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Black Apple | — | Lose 30 HP, +1 Threat Level | Solo runs only — do not use in squad |
| Ether Cell | ★★★ | Restore 1 Charge OR +100 Max SP for 50s | Grants ability charge or stamina buffer |
Black Apple is a trap item. It reduces your HP and increases Threat Level, which draws more dangerous enemies. The Miraheze wiki marks it as solo runs only. In a 50-player server, using this item is griefing your squad.
Ether Cell has two modes: restore an active ability charge, or boost Max SP. If your ability is on cooldown, this can reset it. If your stamina bar is the problem, the SP boost helps.
Item rarity and Scrap pricing
Star ratings in this guide come from Miraheze wiki data. In-zone shops sell items for Scrap, not Prisms. The price scales with rarity:
- ★ items: cheapest, most common
- ★★ items: low-mid tier
- ★★★ items: mid tier
- ★★★★ items: uncommon
- ★★★★★ items: rare
Zone shops appear every 5 floors in the current beta. If you are farming Scrap, check the shop before you push the next zone.
What to carry on a hide run

Item notes from the wiki
- All healing items restore HP (health points).
- All stamina items restore SP (stamina points).
- Items with multiple uses (Cherri-Pop, Lemon Sour, Choco Balls, Soda Pack) can be used multiple times before they empty. Dragging compatible items into them can refill uses.
- Whisper Tea and Ear Muffs are the two stealth-support consumables. Use both on a dedicated hide night.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Isle of Dreams runs.
What is the best healing item?
B.L.T is the best consumable: +100 HP and stat boost for 30 seconds. Ether Pack is a full heal without the buff.
Can I repair Ferro-Mace with Duct Tape?
No. Ferro-Mace and Black Knife are permanently unrepairable by design. Duct Tape works on other weapons.
What does Black Apple do and should I use it?
Black Apple loses 30 HP and increases Threat Level. It is solo-only. In a squad it draws harder enemies and costs you health — do not use it.
How does Ether Cell work?
It restores one active ability charge OR grants +100 Max SP for 50 seconds. Choose based on whether your ability or your stamina is the problem.
What consumables help with the machine quota?
Focus Gum (+1 Work for 10s) and Gumdrops (+0.5 Work for 10s, 5 uses) speed up Extract, Repair, and Scavenge tasks.
